Language Level : Beginning.
In this course people will learn how to function in English at a basic level. Emphasis will be placed on everyday communication needs. In addition to teaching English, the instructor will also teach ways to avoid making social errors because of cultural or language differences. This is a good course for people who want basic English speaking skills or for those who have forgotten much of the English they learned because of lack of practice.

John Bockman is a full-time instructor in the English for Academic Purposes program at Lakeland College Japan. He holds an M.A. in ESL from the University of Arizona and has taught fluency drills off and on for about 20 years.Communicating in English (英会話1）

基礎レベルの英語を実際どのように使っていくかを学びます。日常生活で必要とされる英語を中心に、文化や言語の違いなどから生じる日本人がしやすいミスを 減らしていきます。基礎レベルの英会話力を求める方、学んだ英語を実践する機会が少なく忘れてしまったという方におすすめです。
講師 : ジョン・ボックマン
レイクランド大学ジャパン・キャンパスにて英語研修課程の講師として教えている。アリゾナ大学にて英語教授法の修士号を取得、発音に関するクラスにおいては20年近く教えている。
