Learn to appreciate Hawaiian music and how to sing Hawaiian songs in Hawaiian, English in Japanese. Anella will teach you the melodies, pronunciation, and meanings of the lyrics to Hawaiian songs. Learn to sing the songs that accompany the graceful Hawaiian dance − the hula. The instructor will accompany the singing on her ukulele and show you the basics of playing this unique Hawaiian instrument. Enjoy the musical aspect of Hawaiian culture.

Anella frequently performs in Hawaii as well as in Japan. She has recorded several CDs of Hawaiian music and won first place as the best international recording artist in 'Hawaii Music Awards'. She has been teaching Hawaiian music for more than five years.

ハワイアン・ミュージックとはどんなものかを学び、実践的に演奏ができるようにしていきます。主に歌をハワイ語、英語、日本語で歌えるように練習していきます。アネラ先生がメロディー、発音、歌詞の意味などを丁寧に教えてくれます。また、優雅な「フラ」と呼ばれる踊りとの関連性やハワイ王朝の歴史的な背景も踏まえ、それらが現在のハワイ文化に与えた影響などを探ります。 実際のクラスでは歌うときは講師がウクレレで伴奏します。そして基礎的なウクレレの弾き方も教えてきます。音楽の側面から見たハワイ文化を一緒に楽しみ、この時間だけは、寒い東京の空を忘れてみましょう！

ハワイや日本を中心に演奏活動をしている。過去にリリースしたCDの中には、「ハワイ音楽賞」の国際部門において、グランプリに輝いた作品もある。5年以上、ハワイアン音楽を教えている。
