Enrollment Steps

Step 1: Read the course descriptions and other pertinent information. Be sure to read the Lakeland Open College policies.
Step 2: Select your course(s) and fill out the application form
Step 3: Submit your application form by mail, by fax or in person. For an application form, please contact Lakeland College Japan at 03-3225-0425, Mon.-Fri., 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. You may also apply online with the form below. After submitting your application, you will receive an acceptance form with your I.D. number and an invoice.
Step 4: Pay the entrance fee (if applicable) and tuition to the following bank. You can also pay in cash at the school or by credit card. Bank information:

Step 5: Attend the classes.

Step 2: 希望コースを選択し、受講申込書を記入して下さい。
Step 3: 記入された受講申込書をインターネット、郵送、Faxにて、または直接レイクランド大学事務局まで提出してください。受講番号(ID number)の入った受講票と請求書をお送りいたします。
Step 4: 入学金、受講料を下記の口座にお振込みください。

Lakeland Open College Japan Policies

Course Cancellations. Lakeland College Japan reserves the right to cancel courses if not enough students enroll.
Class Cancellations. At times an instructor may be forced to cancel one or more classes because of illness or other unforeseen events,. In most cases, he/she will try to make up the class at another time or the college may appoint a substitute teacher. Lakeland College Japan reserves the right to make these adjustments.
Course changes. Students need to decide which classes to take before the second class. We cannot accept any registration changes after the first week of classes.
Withdrawal. After the semester has started, we will not accept requests to withdraw from classes.

コースのキャンセル. コースの受講申込者が定員に満たない場合、キャンセルとなることがあります。
休講. 予期せぬ事態の発生などにより、やむを得ず休講となることがあります。クラスが休講となった場合には、補講または代理の講師により対応させていただきます。
コースの変更. 受講コースの変更を希望する場合、コース開始日より1週間以内に申し出てください。それ以降の変更は受け付けません。
受講の取り消し. コース開始後の取り消しは受け付けません。

Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees. The tuition for most courses will be ¥36,000 for a ten-week course. Courses with a different tuition payment requirement will be indicated. In some courses, especially arts and crafts classes, there will be a separate fee for materials used in the course. These special fees will be paid to the instructors.
Alumni Discount. Alumni are entitled to a 20 percent discount on tuition. The discount does not apply to any material charges.
Entrance fee: There will be a one-time entrance fee of ¥10,000 when you initially enroll. .In subsequent terms, you will not have to pay this fee.
Tuition Deadlines: You will receive an acknowledgement form with the payment deadline noted on it within a week after you have made an application. You cannot attend classes before you pay the tuition.
Tuition Refunds
We will refund tuition fees if a class is cancelled or postponed because of insufficient enrollments.
We will also refund tuition fees to applicants who are unable to attend classes because of illness or job transfer provided they notify us prior to the first day of classes.
We will not refund tuition fees in all other cases.
Note: Students who have unpaid tuition or other fees will not be allowed to register for new classes.
Textbooks. The cost of textbooks is not included in the tuition. You may purchase the necessary textbooks on the first day of classes. Many classes will rely on handouts and other materials rather than textbooks.

受講料. 各コースの受講料は、36,000円（10週間）となります(特別な記載があるコースを除く)
また、Art and Craftなど別途材料費のかかるコースは、講師に直接お支払いいただきます。
卒業生割引. レイクランド大学/NICの同窓生およびそのご家族は特別割引として受講料が20%ＯＦＦになります。
入学金. レイクランド大学で初めてコースを受講される方は、入学金10,000円をお支払いいただきます。2回目以降はお支払いいただく必要ありません。
お支払い期限. 受講申込書がレイクランド大学に届いてから１週間以内に、支払い期日が記載された請求書をお送りいたします。お支払いが完了してからの受講開始となります。
受講料の返済. 受講申込者が定員に満たず、コースがキャンセルまたは延期された場合、授業料は全額返済いたします。また、体調不良や転勤などによるキャンセルは、コース 開始日までに申し出があった場合のみ認められます。その他のいかなる理由につきましても授業料は返済されませんのでご了承ください。
注意事項: 入学金または受講料を未払いの方は新たにコースの申し込みをすることはできません。
教科書代. 教科書代は受講料に含まれておりません。教科書が必要とされる場合は、コース開始日に購入していただきます。多くのコースは教科書を使わず、配布物などで授業を進めていきます。
